Product Description
Type Cartridge-filling fountain pen.
Product Name Parker 45 Standard.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England -- 1960s.
Length 5-3/8 inches.
Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges, or can be used with the included converter.
Color Black body with an unusual matte finish cap, more satin-y than the typical brushed steel Parker 45 cap, and chrome plated trim. Clear chalkmarks, "'45' Standard M" though the medium nib was swapped fo a "D" nib.
Nib "D" steel nib is a very subtle left oblique .... the edges are rounded so you won't get a very crisp italic line. Although the chalkmark shows an M, the nib feed has a clear "D" on it.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has a shiny barrel and looks very professional. The section has a noticeable bulge and some scratch marks, especially where it meets the feed. The barrel has moderate scratching throughout but nothing deep. The chalkmarks and imprints are clear. The cap, clip and tassie are perfect.
