Product Name Parker model 50 aka Falcon
Manufacturer and Year Parker, the ballpoint pen is made in the UK, and the fountain pen is made in the USA -- 1978-82 (The ballpoint pen has a date code UL which indicates 1981 but the fountain pen doesn't have one).
Length The ballpoint pen is just over 5" and the fountain pen is just under 5-3/16".
Filling System The fountain pen takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A Parker squeeze converter is installed. The ballpoint pen takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working black Parker ballpoint refill is installed. The ballpoint is activated by a clicker mechanism.
Color Brushed steel with gold trim "Flighter" format.
Nib BROAD. Steel integrated nib, very smooth. It's unlabeled but it looks like a broad and has lots of round tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition. The fountain pen has some handwear and a scratch in the dish tassie and light scratching in the finish to the right of the clip. There are a few pitting marks on the section above the gold band and beneath the nib. The ballpoint pen has small chips missing from the black outlined cap tassie and a shiny mark of finish wear beneath the clip tip. All of the imprints are clear.
