Color The color is grey. This is the "navy gray" color for the Parker 51's. It's a blue green gray like more interesting egg shell colors. The stainless steel cap has a lightly brushed finish with a with long arrow clip. Pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib Medium gold nib.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a lovely, shiny pen in a great color. The barrel and section have light to moderate scratching. There is more moderate scratching over the imprint and at the end of the barrel. The cap is really lovely with some light scratching but no shiny marks. The main flaw is the wear on the clip and tassie. The clip has some plating wear around the edge of the arrow end and some small dots of pitting on the feather top. The tassie is pitted and worn with the brass showing thru. The top jewel has discolored to a green tint--it has a small mark right at the apex. The imprints are legible.
