Length The fountain pen is 5" long, and the pencil is just a hair shorter at 4-3/4".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. Tested and working well. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which extend by pressing the top half of the pen.
Color The color is Forest Green, one of the harder to find aerometric colors. It's a very dark green that looks close to black in poor lighting. It has a chrome clutch band. 1/10 12k gold filled cap with a pattern of converging lines and with an arrow clip. Pearlescent cap jewels.
Nib Fine gold nib. Excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, dents or chips. The fountain pen has light to moderate scratching on the barrel and section. The cap has light wear all over, with an area of heavier scratches to the right of the clip. The clip has plating wear along the sides, as well as some brassing around the open end. The clip ring has some denting as well as some brassing. The cap jewel looks great. The mechanical pencil has light scratching on the barrel. The cap has light scratching, and some tiny dots of pitting in the grooves of the line pattern. The clip has plating wear along the sides and around the open end. The clip ring and cap jewel look great. The barrel of the pencil is personalized with the name "Thomas F. Kinney" (no personalization on the pen). Nose cone looke great. The box has light handwear consistent with its age.
