Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric Flighter, this is the earlier version with a gold plated band. They made this version from 1950 to 1960.

Filling System Clutch mechanism. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads. We will include a packet of pencil leads. The pencil has been tested and is working well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Brushed steel with "lustraloy" finish and arrow clip. Gold plated trim. The trim includes a narrow cap band. The cap has a pearlescent cap jewel. The mechanical pencil has a unique cone at the end of the barrel that has concentric gold circles.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classic, shiny, silky smooth surfaced pencil. The cap and barrel portions have scratches. The clip has plating wear along the arrow end edges. The clip band has small, heavy scratching along the top edge. The cap band has distinct spots of plating wear (see photos), we think someone might have tested the band for gold content. The unique cone has small scratch marks and most of the gold in the grooves has rubbed off. The pearlescent jewel has moderate microscratching. The imprints are clear.
