Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric Flighter, this is the earlier version with a gold plated band. They made this version from 1950 to 1960.

Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. It has been tested and is working well.
Color Brushed steel with "lustraloy" finish and a 1-1/2" long arrow clip. The section is black and the trim is gold plated. The trim includes a narrow cap band.The cap has a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib Medium-fine 14k nib. The pen writes smoothly and the tipping looks nice.
Condition Excellent condition. The brushed finish is even with most of the wear on the barrel near the clutch band from capping. The clip has some plating loss along the sides and on the open end, as well as a couple deep dents in the "feathers". There are some shiny scratches on the cap to the right of the clip. Pearlescent jewel is perfect. No dents or dings in the finish. The imprints are clear. The pen is working well.
