Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric Flighter, this is the earlier version with a gold plated band. They made this version from 1950 to 1960.

Filling System The fountain pen has an Aerometric squeeze filling system. It has been tested and is working well. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads.
Color Brushed steel with "lustraloy" finish and arrow clips. For the fountain pen, the section is black. Gold plated trim. The trim includes a narrow cap band. The caps have a pearlescent cap jewel. The mechanical pencil has a unique cone at the end of the barrel that has concentric gold circles.
Nib Medium gold nib.
Condition Excellent + condition for this lovely, sleek, and lustrous fountain pen and mechanical pencil set. The fountain pen looks beautiful and only has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap band looks great. The clip has a tad of plating wear along the arrow edge. The clip band has plating wear along the upper edge. The cap jewel is crackled. The mechanical pencil has micro-scratching on the cap and barrel. The cone is unique and beautiful. The cap band has some light scratch marks. The clip has plating wear along the arrow edge and the clip band has plating wear around the top edge. The cap jewel has some scratch marks. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
