Product Name Parker "51" Aerometric.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1950 (the pen is marked with the 50 date code, the pencil is marked .9.).
Length Full size. Pen is 5-3/8" pencil is 5-3/16".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling pen, we've cleaned and tested it and it's working well. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which it extends via the cap actuated (repeater) mechanism (you press the cap down like on modern mechanical pencils). Both pen and pencil are working well. We'll include a small packet of leads with the set.
Color Burgundy bodies with matte lustraloy caps, chrome plated trim, and pearlescent cap jewels. The pencil has a chrome plated tip.
Nib MEDIUM gold nib is smooth and firm, in lovely condition with lots of nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. There are small scratches and marks of wear on both pen and pencil, including some tiny spots of plating wear around the pen's tassie ring, and the pencil's cone. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The color is quite good, and the imprints are clear and readable. Both pen and pencil are working very well. The original box is in good condition, just a little grubby on the outside.
