Type Vintage fountain pen in nice working order and a working mechanical pencil.
Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric Pen Set.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1948 (Both have a date code of an 8 with no dots).
Length The pen is 5-9/16" and the pencil is 5-1/4".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system for the pen and cap actuated system for the pencil. The pencil takes "thick" leads and 1.0mm refills should work.
Color Black with stainless steel "Lustraloy" caps that have been smoothed and an arrow clip. Pearlescent cap jewels. The pencil has etched bands at the top of the cone.
Nib Fine gold nib is in excellent condition with pretty symmetrical tipping.
Condition Excellent + condition, with some wear. The cap jewels look pristine and the handwear is low. The lustraloy coating is smooth and even. The imprint is really great on the pen and good on the pencil. No chips, cracks, or personalization. They work very well. They ship in a Parker 51 box.
