Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system, tested and working well. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which it extends by pushing the cap. We'll include a small packet of leads for the pencil.
Color Black barrels with fogged stainless steel "lustraloy" caps with the long arrow clips. Pearlescent cap jewels. Both pieces are personalized faintly on the barrels: "E. H. Crow".
Nib Medium gold nib.
Condition Excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful set in lovely condition. The barrels are velvety black and shiny and the caps look great.
The fountain pen has some scratches on the section hood from capping. There is light scratching on the barrel, with more moderate scratching near the end. The cap has a small shallow dent on the side opposite the clip. There is a faint shiny line around the cap where the clip contacts it; it's more pronounced on either side of the clip, but the rest of it is more subtle. There's a light matte finish on most of the cap, probably caused by sanding or polishing with coarse pen polish. The cap band has microscratching. The clip is excellent. The clip ring has some scratches and tool marks around the edge. The top jewel is excellent.
The mechanical pencil has microscratching on the barrel. The cone and grooved area both look great. The cap looks excellent. The top jewel has some mottling. Both pieces are personalized on the barrel: "E. H. Crow". The imprints and date codes are clear on both pieces.
