Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen.
Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric. .... unusual "3" imprinted on the tassie, apparaently not particularly rare, though we've never noticed seen one before.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - from after 1952, when they stopped imprinting date codes.
Length Full size, 5-7/16".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze-filling system. We've tested it and it's working well.
Color Black with a 1/10 12k gold filled cap in a pattern of converging lines with an arrow clip and a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib MEDIUM gold nib is in great condition with excellent tipping material. It feels very smooth. These mid-century Parker nibs run on the finer side, and from experience we recognize this one to be a medium.
Condition Very nice condition. There's some brassing near the cap lip (see photos), as well as some very light dents, small marks, and scratching on the cap. There's a little plating wear on the clip and the cap's tassie ring. There's only light scratching and marks on the barrel. No cracks or chips, and no personalization. It's tested and working well.
