Type Aerometric filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name Parker 51 Aerometric.
Manufacturer and Year Parker Argentina and Ariel Kullock. Everything but the barrel and hood are original Parker components. The cap was made by Parker Argentina. (We don't know the mark on the nib as we did not pull it, but it appears to be 14k.)
Length Full size pen, 5-7/16 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. It's working very well.
Color Aqua barrel and section with a gold plated converging lines cap, arrow clip, and a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib FINE gold nib. Excellent tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a shiny, beautifully colored pen in deep aqua. The barrel has polishing lines but it is very pretty. The section has moderate scratching especially around the feed. The Parker Argentina cap has moderate microscratching, one small dent to the right of the end of the clip, and some dots of brassing near the top and especially on the clip ring. (We have found the Argentinian caps to be relatively poorly plated.) There are small dots of pitting along the top edge of the clip ring. The clip looks nice. The pearlized jewel is excellent. The Parker, Industria Argentina imprint on the cap is clear.
