Product Name Parker 51 Fantasy Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker parts and re-manufactured parts made by Argentina's Ariel Kullock. The clip and nib and filling system are original Parker parts.
Length 5-3/8" long
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We have tested it and it's working well.
Color Two colors of acrylic, Black and White, with a pattern of horizontal rings or lines carved into the surface. The bottom half of the cap and middle of the barrel are pearly white acrylic, and the section, top half of the cap, and back end are black acrylic. The cap has the Parker inner clutch mechanism and a gold-filled arrow clip. White pearly cap jewel.
Nib Medium gold nib is very smooth.
Condition Excellent condition. Light handwear and microscratching. The top of the cap has some turning marks left over from manufacturing. The clip has brassing and plating wear on the high edges. There is also brassing and plating wear on the tassie around the cap jewel, it looks like the shape of the tassie was modified to make a better fit. There are some scratches on the section, and on the barrel just below the clutch ring, caused by capping. Cap jewel looks great. There are no noticeable ink stains on the material.
