Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parker 51 Fantasy Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock - the pen was assembled using a combination of Parker parts and re-manufactured parts made by Argentina's Ariel Kullock. We're guessing the cap, inner cap clutch, nib and filling system are genuine Parker, with the barrel and section made by Kullock. Original Parker clip. The filling system has the Argentinian imprint.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system. We have tested it and it's working well.
Color Shiny orange "bell bottom" barrel and section, with a gold plated or brass disk on the bulbous end. Lustraloy (brushed metal) cap, chrome clip, steel or aluminum jewel.
Nib FINE gold nib, smooth with good tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a mellow orange colored pen that is uniquely styled. The section and barrel have tiny dot scratches that are often darkened, and seem to be part of the original material. These are difficult to see from a distance but quite obvious under magnification. The gold plated end of the barrel has microscratching. The lustraloy cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip has a somewhat rough surface. The clip ring has brassing, plating wear and a rough surface. The top jewel is excellent. There are no imprints.
