Manufacturer and Year Parker Argentina ("Industria Argentina" and "Parker" stamped on cap), production of the Parker 51 in Argentina began in the late 1950s and continued into the 1970s. There's no date code on this pen.
Length 5-5/16 inches
Filling System Aerometric (squeeze filler ... "press 4 times"). It's marked "Industria Argentina" and "Parker 51" on the filling unit and instructions there are in Spanish.
Color The body and cap are gold-filled with parallel-lines pattern in groups of three. The nib/feed shell is black plastic. Steel clutch with gold center band. Regular pearlescent jewel in pristine condition.
Nib Medium 14K nib writes very smoothly.
Condition Superior. Very shiny with only slight wear, a few light scratches from putting cap on and off the barrel. No dents, dings, ripples, brassing, or corrosion. Ink sac shows past filling with ink, but is still very functional. Overall, the best we've seen of this model. Fully cleaned and serviced.
