Type "Liquid Lead" pencil, with an empty Liquid Lead cartridge. These are mostly for collectors, since they cannot be made to work.
Product Name Parker 51 Liquid Lead Pencil.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- circa later 1950s (they started producing these liquid lead pencils to match their pen models in 1955).
Length Standard size, 5 inches (not counting the liquid lead cartridge protruding from the barrel which adds close to 1/4 inch).
Filling System Takes Parker Liquid Lead cartridges. These are no longer made. One is included, but it is used up or dried up.
Color Minight Blue, 1/10th 12k gold filled cap with a pattern of converging lines, and pearlescent cap jewel.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. There's some microscratching on the cap and barrel, and a few tiny marks.
