Product Name Parker 51 Signet .... not a common model, it was toward the top of the line for Parker
Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK, 1947.
Length 5-3/8 inches
Filling System Aerometric (squeeze filler ... press 4 times). It's marked Parker 51 on the filler.
Color The pattern is five lines followed by an equally sized gold stripe. The body and cap are rolled gold. There is a steel clutch ring. Both the cap and barrel are marked 1/10 12ct R. Gold. This pen has the regular pearlescent jewel. The pen is personalized "S.K." (See photos for detail)
Nib The 14k nib is medium and writes very smoothly.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen is very shiny and handsome. The cap and barrel have light scratch marks throughout with obvious capping marks toward the top of the barrel. The end of the barrel has what appear to be some very small bite marks. The section looks excellent toward the tip but has capping marks. The clip looks beautiful. The pearlescent jewel is slightly darker than we usually see and has a scratch. The pen is personalized, "S.K." There are no cracks, chips or dents. The imprints are clear.
