Color Black barrel, sterling and vermeil cap etched with a design reflecting the shape of the Empire State Building, which is also known as the Icicle design. It has pearlescent cap and barrel jewels and 23K trim including the classic blue diamond Parker clip.
Nib 18K Medium nib is smooth and has lots of tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box with paperwork. There are polishing marks on the smooth portions of the cap. There are also some pin-sized nicks in the cap, to the right of the clip, so small that you can't see them in the final photo below. The area underneath the clip has some tarnish peeking through. The grooves in the cap have touches of tarnish. The cap and barrel jewels are beautiful. The end of the barrel has several long thin scratches from posting the cap. The imprint is faint but you can still make out most of it. Ships with the original box, case, polishing cloth, and paperwork, including a page that declares itself a certificate of authenticity.
These are almost impossible to find without cracks in the barrel. We inspected it thoroughly and believe that there are no cracks.
