Filling System Cartridge or converter. It comes fitted with a piston converter, and under the paperwork in the box you'll find a packet of Parker cartridges. The cartridges are starting to dry out.
Color Bright blue barrel called Vista Blue. The photographs make the pen looks less aqua like than the blue is. The sterling cap is etched with a design reflecting the shape of the Empire State Building. Also known as the Icicle design. It has pearlescent cap and barrel jewels and 23K trim including the classic blue diamond parker clip.
Nib 18K fine nib is smooth and has lots of tipping material.
Condition Near mint condition, though there is a hairline crack in the barrel that does not reach either end. We endeavored to photograph this below, and we have priced the pen $200 less than we would had it not had the crack. If pressure is put on the barrel, this crack may likely worsen, but it should not get any worse with normal writing and careful usage. No dents or dings on the caps and only light handwear on the barrel. The gold and silver look brand new. The imprint is clear and legible. Ships with the original box, case, polishing cloth, cartridges, and paperwork, including a certificate of authenticity.
The blue part of the blue diamond clip is missing. It might have been missed during production as this is the second one in a row we've had that lacked the painted diamond. We can fill the diamond in if asked, please request this after purchasing.
These are almost impossible to find without cracks in the barrel, and usually they extend to the lip of the barrel and make it impossible to screw on the barrel securely. We inspected it thoroughly and found just the one crack as described above and photographed below. We're betting that half of these listed on eBay right now have cracks that have been overlooked by the seller. You will want to be careful when screwing on the barrel after filling, as over-tightening can cause a crack and we cannot give you a refund if the pen has been damaged.
