Excellent! The body is very good looking, and it has been nicely polished though you can still see light scratches. The imprint is readable and quite clear. The tassies are very good with no brassing, and the barrel jewel is excellent. The cap jewel, when viewed with some magnification, looks like the edges have been nibbled, and the jewel shows some cracking under the surface, so we suspect someone tried to remove it. (It undoubtedly can be replaced, but we didn't have any handy.) The cap itself is free from dents, though there are one or two small marks, as well as general hand/desk wear. There is a bit of color disparity between the barrel and the blind cap. The plastic on the tip of the hood is a slightly darker color about 1/2 inch from the nib. There is some staining under the nib around the feed. All these things can be clearly seen in the photos. We restored the filling system, we have tested the pen and will fully guarantee it will work as it should. |
