Product Name Parker "51" Vacumatic.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- early 1945 (the date code 5 with one dot is clear).
Length Pen 5-1/2", pencil 5-1/4".
Filling System Standard plastic Vacumatic (plunger) filling system. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working very well. Pencil has traditional twist mechanism. Lead is .9mm. We will include a pack of leads.
Color Cedar blue body with the "stacked coins" aka Jewelers Band lustraloy cap. Blue Diamond clip is chrome plated (the blue paint still looks perfect). Pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib FINE gold nib is smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent restored condition. There's some light scratching on the cap and some plating wear on the clip and tassie ring. There are wear marks and scratches on the barrel, no cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprint is a bit worn, but mostly readable, and the pen is fully restored, working well. The pencil has a little more wear, with a couple of nicks and scratches in addition to the handwear, and the cap has more handwear. Comes in original box.
