Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Parker 51 Vacumatic
Manufacturer and Year Parker - 1946 (6 date mark). The barrel says made in Canada, and there is no country printed on the cap band .... maybe that's how they did it in Canada.
Length Fullsize Pen - 5 3/8
Filling System Piston/plunger (Vacumatic) - we restored the filling system with a new diaphragm and will guarantee it for a year.
Color Cedar blue body, brushed steel "Lustraloy" cap. Blue diamond gold filled clip. Pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib Perfect looking fine gold nib. There's lots of iridium.
Condition Excellent working example of the classic Parker 51 Vac. Very sharp looking. Signs of light use but no real handwear, very shiny. Only very light marks on the cap, which is good with one small shallow impression up at the top near the jewel. There's a little flaking of the gold plating where the tassie meets the steel of the cap. The blue enamel on the diamond is largely missing (we can repaint it if you like, just let us know).
