Color Black body, steel cap. Lustraloy cap. Blue diamond gold filled clip (blue paint is excellent). Pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib Nice and smooth writing fine gold nib. Excellent tipping.
Condition Excellent condition for this classic pen. The barrel has light handwear. The clutch ring has some plating wear and light corrosion, but is working well to hold the cap in place. The seciton has the usual long scratches from capping; the area around the nib opening looks great. The cap has some fine scratching, and some tiny dots of pitting. The clip has plating wear along the sides and on the open ends. The clip ring/tassie has plating wear around the upper edge. The pearlescent jewel looks great. The imprints are clear. No cracks, chips, personalilzation or dents.
