Type Vintage vacumatic filling fountain pen, in the smaller of the two sizes.
Product Name Parker "51" Vacumatic Demi.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1948 (the imprint is a clear 8).
Length 4-7/8", demi size.
Filling System Piston/plunger (Vacumatic) filler. We've restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly.
Color Cordovan brown body with a Lustraloy (brushed steel) cap, a chrome plated arrow clip, and a pearlescent cap jewel.
Nib FINE gold nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. Cap has one small dent, micro-scratches and a few small shiney spots. You can see on the barrel where there was a name that was removed (see picture). No cracks or chips. The imprint is very clear and readable. The pen is fully restored and working well.
