Condition Excellent restored example of the classic Parker 51 Vac. The pen cap has microscratches and a couple of very small dings evident on close inspection, but maintains a nice lustre. The gold portion of the pencil likewise has microscratches but no dings or dents. There is no brassing evident on either pen or pencil, except on the sides of the pencil clip. A few scratches on the blind cap, caused by posting. The pen barrel and the plastic portion of the pencil have hand wear with some light scratches, but still have a nice appearance. The imprints on the pen are well defined and readable. The jewel on the cap has a few dark spots and the other jewel also shows some age, but they both reflect light nicely. There is no personalization.
The tan leatherette box is in good condition but shows the wear of use. There is a dent on the metal on one side of the box.
