Type Vintage fountain pen and pencil set in excellent working condition.
Product Name Parker 51 Double Jewel .... this is a first year set as is indicated by the aluminum jewels, the imprint on the blind cap, and the high imprint on the pen's cap.

Length 5-1/2" .... the pencil is a little shorter.
Filling System Vacumatic filling system. The system is in excellent condition, just restored here at Peyton Street Pens, and we fully guarantee it will be free of leaks and filling issues. Aluminum speedline filler.
Color Black body, 1/10 14k gold filled cap in a pattern of 9 grouped lines. Cartouche for engraving (un-engraved). The end jewels are a light pearlescent color.
Nib FINE 14k nib is very smooth with excellent tipping material
Condition The fountain pen is in excellent condition, very smooth and shiny and free of cracks and chips, except for a crack in the blind cap that runs thru the imprint (see photo) but does not affect functionality. There are some scratches on the blind cap, as can be seen in the photos. The cap is excellent with no dents or dings. There's a small amount of plating wear-thru on the ridges of the tassies and the top edge of the clip. The blue diamond looks great, with good paint.
The pencil is near perfect and has seen very little usage.
The cap bands are engraved "406 F.L."
