Condition Excellent + condition, in original Parker '51 box, with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a classic pen and pencil set in a nice color combination (though the pencil color is a little closer to olive green than the cap). The fountain pen section has scratch marks made by the cap. The barrrel has moderate wear and scratching, especially toward the end of the barrel and on the blind cap. The gold cap has microscratching, but no dents or noticeable scratches. The clip has moderate scratching and plating wear along the edges, and brassing around the open end. The Blue Diamond looks great. The clip ring looks good. The pearly jewel has light scratch marks and a bit of mottling. The mechanical pencil has light scratching on the grey barrel with a few long, deeper scratches. The gold cap has microscratching along with a few small to medium scratches. The clip has plating wear along the edges of the arrow and along the edges of the feathers. The clip ring has a few dots of pitting and plating wear on the upper edge. The pearly jewel has a tad of mottling and some light scratches. The imprint on the fountain pen is readable. The box is in good shape, though one of the strings is broken.
