Product Name Parker 61 Insignia Mark III, the Mark III is the cartridge/converter version. This is the later version of the Mark III with metal cap and barrel jewels. Please note that the first cartridge/converter version of the Parker 61 had a cap that scraped the metal on the arrow inset, but the design was improved with this version and the problem no longer occurred.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK -- 1975-83, the metal jewels were introduced in 1975 and the line was discontinued in 1983.

Filling System Takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A Parker squeeze converter is installed.
Color 1/10 12k Gold filled body and cap. The gold is in the parallel lines pattern. The section on the fountain pen is black. The pen has metal cap and barrel jewels.
Nib BROAD 14k nib.
Condition Very nice condition. The etched pattern is intact and the metal jewels are shiny and smooth. There are multiple shallow dents in the barrel, and several shallow dents in the cap. The section hood looks great. Small scratches and polishing marks throughout. The clip has some areas of brassing, especially around the open end of the arrow. The clip ring has brassing and some plating wear around the top edge. Both metal jewels have brassing and some plating wear. The arrow inset on the section is perfect. The cap imprints are easily read. It's working well.
