Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Parker 61, Mark II.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Argentina -- 1959-62
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Fixed aerometric (squeeze) filing system. The earlier Parker 61s had the tricky capillary filling system.
Color Gold lined cap and barrel. Probably gold plated. The section is shiny black. Double black jewels on either end of the fountain pen.
Nib Medium octanium hooded nib. (These Argentinian P61s have two metal dots instead of the inset arrow on the hood.)
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, all-gold pen with a line pattern on the cap and barrel. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. Both the cap and barrel have moderate microscratching. The black jewels look excellent. The clip has a bit of plating wear along the edges of the arrow end piece. The feathers have some small dots of pitting. The imprints, including "Industria Argentina" are clear.
