Product Name Parker 61 MKII, made in Argentina.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Argentina -- production of the Parker 61 in Argentina began in the late 1950s and continued into the 1980s after the USA stopped making them. The cap has a Parker 61 MKII imprint.
Length 5-7/16 inches
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler. It's been cleaned and tested and is working well.
Color Flighter (brushed steel cap and barrel) and chrome arrow clip. Black section. Black jewels on top of cap and on the end of the barrel. The section has two small nails near the nib providing some unique-to-Argentina styling.
Nib FINE steel nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a silky, shiny pen that is monochromatic in appearance. The section has some small scratches around the feed. The barrel and cap are virtually perfect with only a few small shiny marks. The clip is the weakest aspect of the pen, it and clip ring have some small dots of pitting. The jewels on top of the cap and at the end of the barrel are both excellent. The cap imprints are clear.
