Type Top of the line ballpoint pen, working well.
Product Name Parker 75 Ballpoint Pen.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- Early 1970s, it has the third version of the imprint.
Length 5-1/16 inches.
Filling System Takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working black refill is installed. The pen is cap actuated - you press down on the whole cap and the writingl tip extends and retracts.
Color Originally vermeil, which is sterling silver with gold plate over it. It is the cisele, or grid pattern with 22k electroplated trim. Most of the gold plating has been worn or polished off, so it looks like the sterling version.
Condition Very nice condition. The gold plated layer is almost entirely gone, and some of the black detail lines are worn. There are a few yellow spots here and there on the pen that evidence the original gold plating. The imprints are clear. The gold clip is excellent, but the tassie shows wear. No major scratches and no dents.
