Type Limited edition pen set. The fountain pen is fairly common, but this is the first desk set we've seen for the Bicentennial.

Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- 1976.
Length The pen and pencil are both about 6-1/2" long. The base measures 8" by 4" by 3/4".
Filling System The ballpoint pen takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working black Parker refill is installed. The mechanical pencil takes 0.9mm leads which extend and retract via a twist mechanism. The barrel has a reservoir of leads and a new eraser can be found when the tail of the pencil is removed.
Color The pen and pencil are Flighters which means they are brushed steel with chrome plated trim. They have black pieces in their tails and the trumpets that hold the pieces are similarly adorned. The set base is made of pewter and rosewood. The upper left of the base includes a piece of wood removed from Independence Hall when it was remodeled and is certified as a piece of history.
Condition New Old Stock. Everything is in perfect condition and all original packaging is included. That includes a pewter plate for personalization, general Parker paperwork, and a certificate of authenticity for the components of the base.
