Filling System The fountain pen takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A Parker piston converter is installed. Working well and guaranteed for a year from the date of purchase.
Color It's a barleycorn pattern (Grain d'Orges) in rhodium plate with gold plated trim. Black ridged section. The cap has the barleycorn pattern with one strip of unpatterned rhodium plate (perhaps for a personalization). The cap band includes an "S" imprint (see photos).
Nib #98 18k Parker nib. The feed is marked 98, for a fine italic nib.
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, dings, or plating wear. This is a gorgeious silver plated pen that shimmers and shines. The cap and barrel barleycorn pattern look great. The unpatterned cartouche on the cap has moderate microscratching. The section looks great. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip has plating wear on the arrow end. The top dimpled tassie has tarnish on the very top. The barrel end dimpled tassie has microscratching and some small dots of tarnish on the dimpled area. The imprints are clear.
