Product Name Parker 75 Insignia I. Insignia refers to the gold filled/plated grid pattern on the pen. The Insignia I is 14k gold filled while the Insignia II is 22k gold plated.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1965-69, based off of the tassie (flat-top tassie points to pre-1970) and plastic threads at the end of the section (introduced in 1965). This is the earlier gold filled version.
Length 5-1/16 inches.
Filling System Takes Parker style cartridges or a converter. A "first model" fat squeeze converter is installed.
Color This Insignia design is the gold colored version of the Cisele. It is 14k gold-filled, and has a shallow grid pattern.
Nib Medium 14K Parker nib, marked on the back of the feed. Smooth with good tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or personalization. This is an elegant, beautifully designed pen. The cap and barrel have light wear. The little squares are all intact. The feathers on the clip have some small spots of flaked plating. The silver-colored band at the front end of the section has some wear. Cap imprint is clear and easily read. The imprints are clear.
