Product Name Parker 75 RMS Queen Elizabeth. This was a limited edition of 5000 made from brass salvaged from the ship which sunk in the Hong Kong harbor in 1972. This is #830.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1977
Length Fountain pen is 5-1/16"
Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges or a converter. A working Parker squeeze converter is included.
Color Olive green textured body with a brass plate that looks aged with some green tinting.
Nib FINE 14k nib is smooth with nice tipping material and just a little give to it. The feed is marked, "F." The discoloration in the photo is not visible in hand.
Condition Near mint condition thought the wooden box is a little worn on the edges and the wooden tray no longer stays on the shelf inside the box. No dents or scratches. We did not attempt to polish the pen as we did not want to change the patina. The scratches on the brass plate disappear with some polish. Otherwise the pen looks like new with just a few small marks. No cracks, nibs, or personalization. It's working very well with the included converter. Included is the wood and brass "treasure chest" which looks well used with scratches and marks that create an antique feeling. The velvet lining of the chest has been compressed a bit too much and it is tricky to lay the shelf on the ridges halfway through the box. The chest has a cloth sack into which it fits but is missing its key. Authenticity certificate included.
