Manufacturer and Year Parker, France -- 1979-83, these are the years this finish was produced. This particular pen lacks a date code which may point to this being made in 1979, as the date code system was re-introduced in 1980.
Length Just over 5".
Filling System It takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working blue Parker refill is installed. The entire cap acts as a button to extend and retract the tip.
Color Malachite is a lovely mix of shades of green lacquer in a striped pattern. The trim is gold plated.
Condition Near mint condition. The area where the cap overlaps the barrel when you press it has some scratching from the center band. The rest of the pen has microscratching in the lacquered surface, but no large scratches, chips, dents or dings. The imprints are clear. Ships in Parker box; the box has some shopwear on the outside, but the inside looks fantastic.
