Product Description
Type Ballpoint and fountain pen set.
Product Name Parker 75
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - 1970s (the ballpoint was introduced in 1970, and they began putting date codes on US-made pens in 1979, so this set was amde between those years).
Length Fountain pen is 5-1/16", ballpoint is 5".
Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges or a converter, and an original Parker 75 squeeze converter is included. The ballpoint takes Parker ballpoint refills, and a working refill is installed. The ballpoint pen is cap actuated (a clicky pen, if you will), you press down on the whole cap and the pen tip extends and retracts.
Color Sterling silver cross hatch pattern with gold plated trim (clip and tassie)
Nib FINE 14k nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material. The feed is marked F, and the pen still has its original nib sizing tag attached to its clip (see photos).
Condition Near mint condition. On the ballpoint there's just light handwear on the barrel, some light scratching on its cone, and a tiny pinpoint indent on its cap tassie (see photos). The fountain pen shows hardly a spot of wear. No brassing or plating wear on the gold trim of either pen. Both are working very well.
