Product Description
Type Modern cartridge/converter filling fountain pen.
Product Name This model was called the Parker 88, later Rialto. This is an earlier version that does not say Rialto on the band and thus is technically a Parker 88 and not a Rialto.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in the UK -- Around 1989-91, we couldn't find official start and end dates for this color, but we know it was produced during those years.
Length 5-1/4".
Filling System Takes Parker style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included Parker slide converter.
Color Laque Ivory with maroon section and end pieces. The trim is gold plated. The end pieces have a small silver colored metallic round insert. All gold plating is 23k.
Nib MEDIUM 23k gold plated Parker nib is smooth, marked M on the feed. We replaced the nib you see in the photos with a new one, so there's no scratches and no big gap between the tines.
Condition Superior condition. The pen has some handwear but is overall just about near mint condition. The only real wear is the wrinkle on the nib. No cracks or dents. The trim looks good.
