Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name "Fantasy" Parker 51 Aerometric
Manufacturer and Year Parker and Ariel Kullock, Argentina. The pen was assembled by the Kullock team using a combination of Parker parts, and a fancy replacement barrel. The cap started as an English rolled gold converging lines cap, which received a hammered treatment. We're not sure the origin of the hammered section.
Length Full size pen, 5-7/16" capped
Filling System Aerometric filling system. Cleaned, tested, and working perfectly.
Color Burgundy pearl barrel, slightly translucent. 1/10 12k gold filled converging lines style cap has been hammered to create a very nice effect, and possibly replated because the gold looks very shiny with no wear, and is a noticeably different color than the section, which is also hammered rolled gold. Gray pearl cap jewel.
Nib Fine 14k nib, very smooth and firm with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. The barrel has moderate scratching under magnification, though the dark color and shimmery character camouflage it quite well in hand. The cap looks great, with a beautifully textured surface, and light brassing. The clip has plating wear along the sides, and brassing and plating wear at the arrow end. The blue diamond's enamel is slightly chipped. The section has plating wear and spots of brassing. All in all one of Kullock's nicer enhancements of the Parker 51.
