Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen and pencil set that has a classic vintage appearance. The marbling and color are excellent. The set is in deep, rich burgundy marble. The fountain pen barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip and mainly light scratching with some more moderate scratch marks toward the end of the barrel. The cap has light to moderate scratches. The single cap band has light microscratching and micro-dots of pitting scattered about. The clip and clip ring have plating wear and some light scratching. The mechanical pencil has light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. The cone has light scratching, brassing, and some small dots of pitting. The cap band has light microscratching. The clip has plating wear on the ball end and moderate microscratching on the face. The clip band has plating wear and brassing. The imprints on both pieces are crystal clear.
