Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Duofold Centennial Mk 1, Collectors Edition
Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK -- 1987 (The date code is PC. This pen was made to commemorate Parker's 100 year jubilee in 1988, but production started in the previous year).
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed.
Color Blue Marble with gold plated trim. It has pairs of bands around the nib collar, the end of the barrel, and near the cap lip. The cap lip pair has one narrow band and one 1/8" band. The cap has a gold emblem that says "Centennial 1888 - 1988" on it and a simple etched arrow design in the clip. This is the Mark 1 trim.
Nib Medium 18k nib is marked 18K and 750 beneath the arrow. The feed has an 83 on it, and we've found some information that corresponds this with a medium nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The edges of the trim rings near the nib have some marks, but no real brassing, pitting, or plating wear. It has some polishing marks on the trim and light handwear throughout. The cap imprint is clear, and the trim is intact.
Note: the gold cap emblem is only found on the Collectors Edition- we've seen other Mk I examples of this pen that do NOT feature it.
