Color Black with gold plated trim. It has pairs of bands around the nib collar, the end of the barrel, and near the cap lip. The cap lip pair has one narrow band and one 1/8" wide band. The cap top has no emblem in it (instead it is engraved with the initials "WH") and the arrow in relief on the clip. This is the Mark 1 Black version.
Nib BBB (extra-extra-broad) 18k nib is marked 18K and 750. The feed has an 86 on it, which is Parker's code for this nib size.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large sized, velvety black, shiny, pen that presents beautifully. The cap has light to moderate scratching, with some heavier marks to the left of the clip. The various gold trim bands as well as the clip have mainly light microscratching, and no brassing or plating wear. The imprints are clear. The cap has a circular monogram with the initials WH engraved on it.
