Filling System Takes Parker-style cartridges and converters. A converter is installed.
Color Detailed maki-e artwork on a black base. Black end pieces and gold plated trim. It has two cap bands and two bands on the black section.
Nib Medium 18k nib is smooth. It is marked M on the feed.
Condition Near mint condition. Some tarnish on the edges of some of the gold trim, visible under magnification. (You can see it best on the photos below of the ring at the end of the barrel. We didn't want to polish too close to the maki-e.) Light handwear and polishing marks on the trim but no plating wear including the collar beneath the nib. The imprints are very clear and crisp. No cracks, chips, scratches, or personalization. NO BOX OR PAPERWORK.
