Type Vintage Desk Pen with Base
Product Name Duofold Base and Pen. This is the smaller of the two "full size" Duofolds (there's an even smaller ladies set).
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA -- 1936 (the nib has a date code of 26 with two dots).
Length The base measures 3 -1/2"x4"x3/4". The pen is 7-3/16"
Filling System Button filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color The base is a shiny smooth black base. It has beveled edges. The pen is the "red" color that is actually a dark orange.
Nib EXTRA FINE 14k nib. It is a Parker Duofold nib with a .26. date code. The nib writes well. The tines do spread and are springy but do not offer line variation.
Condition Excellent condition. The base has a few fine scratches and one tiny chip on the top of the base. The pen has handwear and microscratches. The tail of the pen has bite marks. The barrel imprint is clear. The pen fits the base perfectly and is working well.
