Filling System Button filler. Excellent restored filling system.
Color Bright yellow (Mandarin) body and cap with gold filled trim.
Nib Fine to medium "Parker Duofold" style nib, rather stiff with just a little give. Writes very smoothly with a wet line. Excellent tipping material.
Condition A very hard to find pen with none of the common flaws. There are no cap lip cracks. Please see the photos. Other light marks here and there on the plastic. We did not sand the pen, so there is room for improvement of the cosmetic condition.
The trim is good with some brassing on the clip, which you can see in the pictures below. There are a few darker yellow lines in the material of the barrel, probably part of the coloring of the original material. No barrel cracks, the line you see in the cap band close-up below is a shallow scratch on the barrel and not a crack. We were able to open the pen for re-sacing, and there were no cracks. No personalization.
