Manufacturer and Year Parker UK -- 1990. The cap of the pencil is IQ and the pen is Q, indicating 3rd and 4th quarter of 1990, respectively.
Length The pen is a hair over 5-1/8", and the pencil is 5-3/16"
Filling System The fountain pen comes fitted with a Parker converter. The converter can be removed to use Parker style cartridges. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which extend and retract by twisting the top knob, which also holds an eraser underneath.
Color Burgundy marble (called Red Marble by Parker) with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM 18k 750 nib is marked M on the feed. This is the early "Arrow" style nib, correct for this year of Duofold.
Condition Excellent condition. The fountain pen has light to moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. The barrel has some heavier scratching towards the back end caused by posting - it's really noticeable under magnification, but the swirly material hides it pretty well in hand. There is a shallow dent in one of the bands at the end of the barrel, which does not crack the gold plating. The trim rings near the nib have a couple of tiny dots of pitting. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip has some uneven plating along the sides, and the rest of the trim has light scratching and polishing marks. The pencil looks excellent, with light scratching, but no dents, dings, cracks, or chips. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
