Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in excellent working condition
Product Name Duofold Junior (Streamline)
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA - early 1930s (No date code.)
Length 4-1/2" inches.
Filling System Button filler. We've fully restored it and it's working well.
Color Blue "Lapis" body and cap with gold plated trim. The color has aged a fair amount to a deeper blue, with the barrel a bit darker than the cap.
Nib Medium Parker Duofold nib is firm, and has nice tipping. It's very smooth. There's a small scratch on the top surface of the left tine, but it doesn't affect the writing at all.
Condition Excellent condition. Other than the minor discoloration mentioned above, the pen shows hardly any signs of use. There are a couple of marks on the cap, and then some posting marks at the end of the barrel, but no cracks or chips in the lip. The rest of the barrel and cap are almost completely free of scratching and very smooth and shiny. The imprint is a bit worn away, but you can still read it (see photos). The ball of the clip has a ring of brassing around the circumference, as well as some on the top shoulders of the clip, and on the edge of the bottom cap ring. It's a really beautiful little pen, fully restored and working well.
