Product Name Early Duofold This is the bandless/ no cap band version. We think it's one of the smooth models called "Raven Black and Gold." It was an economy model.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- the smooth "Raven" pens were made between 1929 and 1934. The nib is dates 1937.
Length 4-1/2", this is the shorter sized Parker Duofold Junior
Filling System The fountain pen is a button filler. It has been restored with a new sac.
Color Solid black Permanite pen with smooth cap. This is a bandless cap with the clip as the only trim. There is no indentation on the cap to indicate that it ever had a band.
Nib Fine or extra fine 14k nib. It is smooth and springy. The nib has an imprint, ".47.".
Condition Excellent condition for this shiny little pen. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching throughout. The blind cap has quite a few short deep scratches. The section has horixzontal capping lines near the top or bottom. No cracks, chips or dents.. The imprints are clear.
