Product Description
Type Vintage button-filler fountain pen
Product Name Parker Duofold Junior (Streamlined)
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- Circa 1930.
Length 4-11/16" (the streamline version is slightly longer than the original Duofold junior, which is the reverse of the situation with the senior model.)
Filling System Button filler, restored here at Peyton Street Pens.
Color Burdundy and Black marble with gold plated trim and black end pieces. The two cap bands are each 1/16" each.
Nib Fine Parker Duofold two-tone nib. It is firm and writes smoothly. Some of the masking has been polished off, around the edges (including along the nib slits), but beyond that the masking is quite clean.
Condition Superior condition. The ball end of the clip is mostly brassed, though the rest of it looks pretty good. Cap bands also show some look fantastic. Cap and barrel have minimal handwear. The barrel imprint is crisp and clear. The blind cap sits flush against the barrel.
