Color |
It looks like this pen used to be the Jade Green color, but as is common, it has faded to a darker, slightly more brown-green in most places. The edges of the green are still light like their original color (our photos show the color pretty well). Gold Plated trim, with thin, double cap bands. |
Nib | Medium, gold nib is marked "Parker Duofold Pen," is smooth, and has just a bit of flex to it. Christmas tree style feed is completely intact and working well. |
Condition
|
Very nice condition, with a beautiful nib. There are a few teeny short stress marks in the threads where the section screws in (see photos). They are quite small, and held up alright through our restoration, so we don't expect them to get worse. The cap also has one tiny crack that doesn't make it to the cap ring. Both cap and barrel have some lighter microscratching, and one or two very small scratches, but look quite good, despite the discoloration (mentioned above). The trim is a bit worn, with brassing on the clip, and both bands. There's good spring to the button filling mechanism. We guarantee the pen completely, so if it doesn't meet your expectations, we encourage you to return it. |
